Tototro The disk imaging feature in Disk Drill is called Byte-to-byte backuo you’ll find it in the left-hand menu.

It lets you create a full image of your SD card, sector by sector. Super useful if the storage is flaky or starting to go.
But if you just deleted files by mistake, you probably don’t need to bother with imaging this time around.
The steps @SocialImpactCoder covered are usually it. For normal accidental deletion, a regular scan of the SD card will often do the trick.
That said, since you deleted the footage on the camera, I’d suggest trying Advanced Camera Recovery instead. You’ll find it under Storage Devices in the left-hand panel. In my experience, it works better for in-camera file loss. Not saying the regular scan won’t do it, but I think youll get better results using this mode.
The app even lets you select the camera type during the scan.

It’s not strictly necessary (the scan will usually detect the card and say something like “Canon camera detected” ). But pickin the correct brand manually can help the software better interpret how your device structures data and speed things along a bit.
So, for your case:
Go to Advanced Camera Recovery
Select your SD card
Pick your camera type from the dropdown (or leave it as-is if unsure)
Click Search for lost data and let it do its thing
Preview what it finds and recover to a different drive
Hope that helps.
Just a heads-up though, your recovery chances also depend on whether you’ve used the SD card after the files were deleted. If you’ve recorded new footage since then, there’s a chance the deleted data has been overwritten. In that case, some of it might not be recoverable no matter what tool you use.
