Just wanted to clarify on all the factory reset talk: about backups.
If you do decide to reset, OP read this first: Backup methods for iPhone.
Short version: you’ve got two main ways to back up before wiping anything: iCloud and your computer (Mac or PC).
I would personally go with computer backup using Finder, way more reliable, especially if you want a full backup including app data.
One more thing: if you restore from backup, you get ALL your apps and settings back, but you also bring back the clutter.
If you really want your iPhone to run faster, setting up as new (without restoring) works best, but you’ll need to reinstall apps and redo settings manually.
Up to you how deep you wanna go. Just be prepared.
