kobi_po Same feeling about the new UI at first. I opened the app and thought okay, where did everything go? 😄 But that went away after like 5 min. Once you poke around a bit, the new layout starts making sense.
Feature-wise, I think the most worthwhile additions are:
Photo and screenshot compression. Before, compression was just for videos. Now you can shrink photos too, and screenshots can be converted (PNG to HEIC).
Deleting Live Photos with multi-select. Before you could convert them into regular static photos, but now you can also select a bunch and just remove the ones you don’t want.
More filters/presets in Swipe. You can go through Random, Recent, Favorites, Screenshots, Videos, or Live Photos, plus sort things by month. Swipe also works with videos now.
Plus, one smaller thing I noticed, you can now see whether something is marked as a Favorite and change that right inside the app. Not huge, but it’s nice to have.
Those are probably the changes I’ve noticed and actually cared about the most so far..
