Hi everyone! I have an issue when I try to play a video file on Windows 10 — the 0xc00d36c4 error appears, and the file won’t play in Windows Media Player, Groove Music, VLC, or KMPlayer. The video was recorded on my Samsung Galaxy S10 in MP4 format (H.264/AAC), and these files used to work fine. Now, none of the videos recorded on this phone will open. However, other video files, like those downloaded from the internet or recorded on different devices, play without any problems. I suspect the files might be corrupted, but I’m not sure how to check that. I’m using Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, with an Intel Core i7 6700 HQ, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Does anyone know what might cause this error and how to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated!
